The next election is the General Election on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Early Voting for this election will be from Friday, September 20th 2024 until Saturday, November 2nd 2024. Additionally, there will be Early Voting available on Sunday, October 27th at all three Early Voting locations from 1 PM - 5 PM.

Election Officers - Richmond
Election Officers are appointed for a term not to exceed 3 years. Terms begin March 1. On Election Day, you must be available to serve from approximately 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. or later (polls are open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Every year, one member of the electoral board is appointed (or re-appointed) for a three-year term beginning on January 1 of the following year.

The deadline to register to vote in-person and by mail is 5:00 PM on October 15, 2024. You can register on October 15, 2024 until 11:59 PM. (Voters may register after this date, through Election Day, and vote using a provisional ballot).
